Many isolates of the genus Photorhabdus have been reported around the world. Here we describe the first Brazilian Photorhabdus isolate, found in association with the entomopathogenic nematode Heterorhabditis baujardi LPP7, from the Amazonian forest in Monte Negro (RO, Brazil).
