Allele frequencies were determined in sample populations of Chamorros and Filipinos from Guam at the loci LDLR, GYPA, HBGG, D7S8, Gc, HLA-DQA1, and D1S80. Variable number tandem repeat alleles at the D1S80 locus were detected by silver staining following electrophoresis of amplified products in polyacrylamide.
