BACKGROUND: Clinically, folliculosebaceous cystic hamartomas (FSCH) present as skin-colored papulonodules of the face, especially the nose. This is in contrast to sebaceous trichofolliculomas which often present as depressed ostia containing terminal or vellus hairs.
