METHODS: The peripheral blood lymphocytes and lung function have been studied in 25 patients: 12 affected by atopic asthma and 13 affected by non atopic asthma. RESULTS: The results obtained indicate that peripheral blood CD3 and CD4 cell as well as HLA-DR marker are higher in the extrinsic asthma group.
