Abstract excerpt
Surface-associated protein expression by Streptococcus uberis was influenced by the presence of collagen, laminin and bovine mammary epithelial cells in the culture medium. After electrophoresis and silver staining, four proteins stained more intensively in samples from S. uberis cultivated with epithelial cells and extracellular matrix components than in samples from S. uberis cultivated alone.
