In a sample of 212 healthy, unrelated individuals of a Czech (Central Bohemian) population, the phenotype and allele frequencies of HLA-DRB1 and -DQB1 loci were determined. DNA typing technique used was the restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP) analysis. The restriction enzymes were TaqI and HindIII and specific DRB1 and DQB1 probes were applied.
