Mycobactin J-dependent mycobacterial isolates from sheep, goat, and cattle herds with Johne's disease in Morocco, South Africa, the United States, and Germany were tested for the repetitive insertion sequence IS900 of Mycobacterium paratuberculosis by PCR.
