The human platelet alloantigens HPA-1, -2, -3, -5 and -6b in the Finnish population were determined using allele specific restriction analysis (PCR-ASRA) for HPA-1, -2, -3 and -5 and monoclonal antibody immobilized platelet antigen (MAIPA) assay for HPA-1, -3a, -5b and -6b.
