Fourteen Giardia duodenalis isolates were examined using the RAPD (random amplified polymorphic deoxyribonucleic acid) technique. Simple reproducible polymorphisms were generated using 3 different RAPD primers. The results generated by each primer were very similar and were significantly correlated with each other.
