Allele and genotype frequencies for seven polymerase chain reaction (PCR)-based DNA genetic markers were determined in an Arab sample population. The loci analyzed were HLA-DQA1, LDLR, GYPA, HBGG, D7S8, Gc and D1S80. Results were obtained from the first six loci using the AmpliType HLA-DQ alpha DNA and AmpliType PM PCR Amplification and Typing Kits.
