Rosai-Dorfman Disease (RDD) is an uncommon histiocytic disorder that can affect lymph nodes and/or extranodal sites. It is marked by the accumulation of abnormal histiocytes that demonstrate emperipolesis-the active, non-destructive engulfment of other leukocytes.
