Gut microbiota dysbiosis is strongly linked to colorectal cancer (CRC), but reliable early diagnostic markers remain elusive. This study investigates the role of a novel Shigella flexneri strain in CRC pathogenesis. Metabolomic analysis of CRC patient feces identified elevated agmatine levels.
