BACKGROUND: The impact of diabetic kidney disease (DKD) phenotype on the cardiovascular (CV) risk remains ambiguous. METHODS: This was a prospective, single-center study (The Silesia Diabetes-Heart Project, NCT05626413) of people with diabetes mellitus (DM).
