BACKGROUND: Differences in recurrent pericarditis with normal vs. elevated C-reactive protein (CRP) are unknown. MATERIALS AND METHODS: We studied 448 patients with recurrent or incessant pericarditis. CRP levels <10 mg/L were considered normal.
