Inherited bone marrow failure syndromes and germline predisposition syndromes (IBMFS/GPS) are associated with increased risk for hematologic malignancies, particularly myeloid neoplasms, such as myelodysplastic neoplasms (MDS) and acute myeloid leukemia (AML).
