Mavacamten is a first-in-class, oral, selective, allosteric, reversible cardiac myosin inhibitor approved by the US Food and Drug Administration for the treatment of adults with symptomatic New York Heart Association functional class II-III obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
