Linkage of albino and pink-eyed dilution genes in the Mongolian gerbil and other rodents.

The albino (ch) and pink-eyed dilution (p) genes are shown to be linked with a crossover value of 30 +/- 5 percent. The linkage is comparable with similar linkages of the albino and pink-eyed dilution loci in other rodent species. No evidence of linkage was found between nonagouti (a) with either c or p.
