Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR) is a major drug target for non-small-cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC). Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitors (TKIs) like erlotinib are potent inhibitors of EGFR and have achieved impressive clinical success against NSCLC.
