Classical swine fever (CSF), caused by classical swine fever virus (CSFV), is a severe disease that causes huge economic losses in the swine industry worldwide. In China, CSF has been under control due to extensive vaccination since 1954. However, there are still sporadic CSF outbreaks in China.
