BACKGROUND: Musculoskeletal (MSK) sarcoidosis presents with a variety of clinical phenotypes. Four subtypes of MSK sarcoidosis have been identified to date: Lofgren syndrome, chronic sarcoid arthritis, osseous sarcoidosis, sarcoid myopathy.
