OBJECTIVES: We investigate the potential role of BRAF testing in guiding surgical intervention in papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC). METHODS: Thyroid fine-needle aspiration (FNA) cases with available BRAF result and follow-up thyroidectomy for PTC were included in the study.
