Congenital thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (cTTP) is a rare disease that is defined as biallelic mutations of ADAMTS13 causing persistent absence of ADAMTS13 activity. The confirmed diagnosis requires a genetic study, and cTTP has never been previously reported in Taiwan.
