The present investigation is the first of its kind to understand the HLA profile of Kami population from the Indian Gorkha community of sub-Himalayan West Bengal, India. A total of 158 individuals from Kami population were genotyped at first field resolution by HLA ABDRB1 PCR SSP typing kit.
