Pathogenic variants in the nonimprinted in Prader-Willi/Angelman syndrome (NIPA1) gene typically present with pure hereditary spastic paraplegia (HSP) but complex cases are described. We present a patient with childhood idiopathic generalised epilepsy (IGE) who later developed HSP.
