Comparative time-kill experiments with Staphylococcus aureus bacteriophage (phage) Sb-1 alone and phage-antibiotic combinations (PACs) against two methicillin-resistant S. aureus (MRSA) strains have shown synergy with both daptomycin-phage and vancomycin-phage combinations.
