Mitochondrial diseases are rare metabolic disorders that can cause hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Herein we describe the case of a 3-year-old girl diagnosed with mitochondrial disease (mutation m.5559A>G in the mitochondrial-tRNATrp gene).
