Erdheim-Chester disease (ECD) is a rare histiocytosis characterized by infiltration of multiple tissues by CD68+ foamy Mϕs (or 'histiocytes'). Clinical manifestations arise from mass-forming lesions or from tissue and systemic inflammation.
