Erdheim-Chester disease (ECD) is a rare histiocytosis that may affect the central nervous system (CNS). Infiltration by the disease occurs throughout the neuroaxis, usually involving the dentate nucleus and the pons, manifested as a pyramido-cerebellar syndrome.
