The polymorphism of the orosomucoid (ORM) system was analysed in 318 Cook Islanders. Modified isoelectric focusing revealed six-band patterns in thin-layer polyacrylamide gel followed by immunofixation. The first ORM locus showed four-band patterns with variations, while the second locus revealed two-band patterns without variation.
