In the present study, we describe two novel Gram-stain-positive, irregular rod-shaped bacterial strains, 78T and 601, that had been isolated from the faeces of Tibetan antelopes at the Hoh Xil Nature Reserve, Qinghai–Tibet Plateau, China.
