Background: Pseudohypoparathyroidism type 1B (PHP1B; MIM#603233) is a rare imprinting disorder (ID), associated with the GNAS locus, characterized by parathyroid hormone (PTH) resistance in the absence of other endocrine or physical abnormalities.
