BACKGROUND: Rotavirus vaccines created the opportunity to control diarrhea in children. We describe the rotavirus genotypes before and after the rotavirus vaccine introduction in Brazil. METHODS: We reviewed the distribution of rotavirus genotypes in Brazil before and after vaccine introduction by searching publication.
