Streptomyces griseus S4-7 was originally isolated from the strawberry rhizosphere as a microbial agent responsible for Fusarium wilt suppressive soils. S. griseus S4-7 shows specific and pronounced antifungal activity against Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. fragariae.
