Since the MOSAIC study, oxaliplatin-based adjuvant chemotherapy has been the standard treatment of stage III colon cancer. Combination therapy with fluoropyrimidines and oxaliplatin has improved overall survival (OS) and reduced the risk of recurrence in patients with resected stage III colon cancer.
