Cutaneous polyarteritis nodosa (CPAN) is characterized by a necrotizing vasculitis of small and medium-sized arteries in the skin, which can be associated with fever, arthralgia, myalgia, and neuropathy, but, unlike polyarteritis nodosa (PAN), there is no visceral involvement.
