BACKGROUND: Warburg Micro syndrome (WARBM) is a rare autosomal recessive disease characterized by postnatal growth retardation, microcephaly, severely delayed motor and intellectual development, microcornea, congenital cataracts, optic atrophy, and hypogonadism.
