INTRODUCTION: Gaucher cells (GCs), the lipid-laden storage macrophages, are the pathologic hallmark of Gaucher disease (GD). They are typically 20-100 μm in diameter with eccentrically placed nuclei and cytoplasm with characteristic crinkles and striations.
