KEY MESSAGE: We have constructed and annotated a web-based database of over 280 Arabidopsis genes that have characterized mutants associated with Arabidopsis acyl lipid metabolism. Mutants have played a fundamental role in gene discovery and in understanding the function of genes involved in plant acyl lipid metabolism.
