OBJECTIVE: To explore the correlation between ischemic stroke (IS) and the polymorphism of human leucocyte antigen (HLA) gene. METHODS: Antigen, allele, haplotype of HLA-A, B, C, DRB1, DQB1 in 94 IS patients and 503 healthy controls were detected by PCR-SBT.
