Axenfeld-Rieger syndrome (ARS) is an autosomal dominant disorder with variable expressivity. It is characterized by dysgenesis of the anterior segment of the eye together with dental, cardiac, and umbilical anomalies. There is a high incidence of secondary high tension glaucoma.
