Gaucher disease (GD) is a lysosomal disorder caused by inherited deficiency of glucocerebrosidase (GCase), resulting in the accumulation of glucocerebroside in macrophages, termed "Gaucher cells," leading to multiorgan involvement, with hepatosplenomegaly, cytopenias, pulmonary hypertension, and skeletal complications.
