X-linked recessive chondrodysplasia punctata (CDPX1) is a rare congenital disorder of bone and cartilage development, characterized by punctate calcification in areas of endochondral bone formation, leading to stippled epiphyses, severe nasal and midfacial hypoplasia, short stature, and brachytelephalangy.
