PM2 is an Aeromonas-specific bacteriophage isolated on A. hydrophila strain AH-3. The bacteriophage receptor for this phage was found to be the lipopolysaccharide (LPS), specifically a low-molecular weight LPS fraction (LPS-core oligosaccharides).
