In this study we examined the effect of various initial sensitizing doses of infective Toxocara canis eggs and the effect of murine host genotype on the level of trapping of larvae in the liver after larval challenge. In the initial experiments, C57BL/6J mice were infected with a sensitization dose of 5, 25, 75, 125, or 250 infective T. canis eggs on day 0 postinfection (PI).
