Essential thrombocythemia (ET) is a myeloproliferative disorder characterized by hemorrhagic and thrombotic complications. We describe a rare case of ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) in a patient with previously undiagnosed ET, confirmed by gene mutation.
