To investigate the regulation of K+ fluxes in Saccharomyces cerevisiae the dependence of K+ efflux and Rb+ influx on [K+]i, pHi, [Na+]i, membrane potential, cell volume, and turgor pressure were studied in cells with different K+ contents.
