OBJECTIVE: Camurati-Engelmann disease or progressive diaphyseal dysplasia is a rare autosomal dominant disease characterized by cortical thickening of the long-bone diaphyses accompanied by waddling gait, muscular weakness, hearing loss and chronic skeletal pain.
