BACKGROUND: Malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumours (MPNSTs) are the main cause of death in neurofibromatosis 1 adult patients. OBJECTIVES: To determine the clinical type of neurofibromas associated to MPNSTs. METHODS: Case-control study.
