This study was undertaken to evaluate the efficiency of flow cytometry in the detection of the serological H-Y antigen, and to survey expression of H-Y in the normal human population. Peripheral blood leukocytes (granulocytes) were reacted with monoclonal H-Y antibody, gw-16, and with FITC-conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG, and then were scored for fluorescence in the flow cytometer.
