The clinical, histological, immunophenotypic and genotypic properties of four cases of lymphoma of true histiocytic origin are described. The cases were identified by typing 925 non-Hodgkin's lymphomas by immunophenotypic and/or genotypic techniques, and they all presented with skin lesions.
